Do you pray before meals?

honestly when i am so hungry i forget to pray , i just get my plate and put food in it,and eat. but i sometimes pray before meals.i feel guilty about not praying before eating, because my nephews cannot eat without praying first.little ones are great.

I do pray before meals. I think praying is important because it is in praying that you express your gratitude to the Lord for all His blessings - that includes the food that we all eat.

yes. My family and I don't eat at the same time but I do the cross sign and thank the lord for the days blessings with every meal.

Yes! It's a great time to think about my blessings, and food is certainly a blessing and a vital part of life--not to mention just enjoyable for the fun of it! I've just polished off a bowl of hot dogs chopped up into black-eyed peas and am drinking some raspberry-flavored water. I also had jalapeno-flavored potato chips on the side, and a couple of cookies are talking to me from the other room asking me to gobble them up!

Its become so much part of me that i say it without even realising it. if i don't as i eat i say the prayers but surely i say it. thanks.
