HELP! How to make others see my discussion on mylot?

hi! i looked at your profile and i've seen that you have been with mylot for 3 weeks. what i can suggest are: 1) you try to participate more in discussions started by others. get to know other mylot users with the same interest as you do. 2) make some friends. increase the friends in your list. currently you only have two. i have seen a mylot user receiving 50, 100 responses in their discussions and i looked at their profile... they have more than 1000 friends in mylot. 3) always try to give a quality post (discussion, response, comment), it gives you the reputation here in mylot. quality means well-thought of, meaningful and relevant. 4) enjoy mylot!!! be patient and participate more. the more you participate in mylot, the more others will get to know you and may get encouraged to participate in your discussions as well. goodluck! hope this helps. :)

Add more friends on your list so that what you have posted will be visible to your friends. And it must be easy to discuss, so that more people will be interested on it. Good luck!!

Welcome to mylot. My first suggestion to you would be that you need more friends. Friends will try harder to respond to your discussions. Also, start answering other peoples discussions and give good quality answers. people will notice you and then maybe look at your discussions or maybe they will ask to be your friend. Don't be disappointed, when I first started here I had the same problem. It gets better as it goes on. Good luck.

I would say that you need to choose topics that people are interested in. That is the first thing to getting people to read your discussions. The second thing is to make sure you choose an interest and start your discussion in the correct interest, so people with that interest will see your discussion. Next you want to get as many friends and referrals you can that will read your discussions.
