if you do or don't, why? you could also share your experiences, thoughts and stances. i experienced this once, and vowed never to engage in it again. see, i get emotionally attached. i got extremely burned and damaged from my experience. i suppose it all depends on the kind of person you are, on your perceptions, and such.

I have never engaged in it, why? because l see it as an 'indecent' behaviour, my society frowns at it. I will also expose myself to different dangers.
However, I can understand any person who finds herself in such, l dont condemn them, l believe they have different reasons, which could range from peer pressure etc. As you said, you had done it and learnt that its not worth doing, others may not see anything wrong with it. I sure believe its an individual thing.

true, there are different reasons. it may even be a way of torturing oneself, really. the reasons are so many, so it's a good thing that you don't easily judge.

I think we need more frowning because it is happening way to much. I agree with you totally.

I have never did this and imagine this is something I will never engage in . There are too many things to worry about today to dare take the chance with something like this . In one night stands , you never know anything about the person so have no way of knowing if they carry any diseases and are risking a lot on one night on the off chance they don't .
I feel I have to get to know a person really well before I can trust someone and would never be able to just be with someone in an intimate way considering if I can't feel I can trust them until I know them then I wouldn't share something as private as that with a stanger :)

I have but find them totally unfulfilling and mostly they were with people seeking outlet from their own marriage and I wasn't left feeling good about that.
