Making Money Online: Who actually BELIEVES this stuff?

I just finished responding to someone's discussion about making money, and taking out a loan. It got me to wondering about something.
As you all know, we get served up "content based" advertising with every time we load a page on myLot. Since I had been reading a discussion about "making money" the ads were related to this subject. Do you ever take a moment to look at the ads?
Here are a few I saw:
"Want $15,497 in 4 Days? No Hype Just Proof of Income"
"How to pocket $400 -$900 aday or more with our proven system."
One wasn't even grammatically correct:
"Make Fortunes Online money This is an opportunity of a life.money." [sic]
So now I am thinking "WHO actually BELIEVES this?" I just can't imagine. Think about it. If there were a "system" that could earn you $15,000 in four days, NOBODY would be going to work at a "normal" job, would they-- a job where it would take 3-6 MONTHS to earn that amount of money.
And yet, there are literally MILLIONS of such ads on the Internet. Ten years ago, I used to write articles for the "Income Opportunity" press... and there were 20-30 magazines out there with THICK classified advertising sections, FILLED with ads making similar promises. Clearly SOMEbody must be responding, right?
What do YOU think? WHO responds to these ads? Are they very NAIVE people, or just very GREEDY people? Or just folks who don't "look before they leap?" Or do you think there actually ARE "opportunities" out there where you can make large sums of money off a "publically promoted" system? Or is this simply a case of ADVERTISERS believing they won't get attention if they HONESTLY state "make $100 a week in your spare time?"

I'm actually sick of making money online. In fact totally sick.I think mylot and a few other sites are only the ones that work well and mylot is one of those places which pays really well and i'm happy that i'm a part of this.
There are always strings attached to the ways you earn money online.I've had enough with those earn big offers cuz they require you to make an investment. And why would i buy that when there are so many online frauds happening in the cyberworld?
I recently joined a forum which turned out to be a scam.So its waste of time and also hopes turned to despair.

It always pays to be cautious around "opportunities" that require you to PAY money to MAKE money... that only works with the stock market, and even there you're not guaranteed a return.

I don't believe this stuff, they're all scams. And I know that 'cause people talk... But myLot is a GREAT, true, honest alternative that can make you earn much money in little time. That's why after a long period of research, I'm just sticking to myLot and that's it.

The only people making money from these websites are the people who run them. If you only pay (fill in the blank) you too can make thousands of dollars in just a couple of days. If it were really that easy, wouldn't we all be millionaires?

Somebody must believe it or there wouldn't be such a glut. I personally don't believe any of it. Perhaps it is the elderly or the very young and desperate who are falling for this stuff.
