Spring has come a lot of places - here it is slowly getting here. We cannot put any plants out on our veranda yet - we have to wait for at least another month. but I have given it some thought. What is your favorite plant for your veranda or garden?

I like Ipomea. Every spring my veranda is full of blue and pink Ipomea, it makes me relax to watch them after a day of work

Don't think so but I like them anyway. They grow fast and produce too much grains. I plant them around my veranda and they grow too fast, and flourish all along the spring and summer. Mine have flowers even in winter as the climate here (Tunisia) is always warm.

I am in Ireland where we are having a very mild start to spring and get this, I just ,moved my hosueplants outonto the patio! The only ones still in the house are egyptian papyrus plants and a new, tender coffee plant. For my patio I like all green, with the only color of blooms to be white. In the rest of the garden I like a very tropical feel with lots of cordylines, honeysuckles, phormiums, passion flwers and the like.

That sounds really nice! I cannot wait for us to be able to let some of our plants enjoy the outdoors. Your garden sounds like a beautiful place!

I'm leaving in Malaysia, we've got all the sun all year. Got a lots of plants but my favourite is lotus. Planted it in a big vase and i put small fishes inside to avoude from mosquito breading. Now these small fishes had brees and we can see these tiny fishes swimming arround everywhere. Lotus is easy to breed (from its roots) as long as it receives the sun and fertiliser. The chinese loves to eat the roots and the lotus seeds (i think they are also good for the health)
