I watch the show quite often, thought it's usually when I accidentally flip past Spike TV searching for CSI. What I like about it mostly is the charisma of the hosts, the "Oh, you know, I was thinking about that the other day...that's cool!" factor of the experiments, and the occassional "Oh jeez...that's...kinda creepy" moment, like with the torture rack and the icicle to the flesh experiments. I also like the fact that they admit when they screw up. It might take them a bit, but they DO admit it. It's the attraction of the unknown and curiosity for me.

I have to agree with you, Paladyne! The charisma is the hosts is what keeps me tuning in. And I also enjoy the fact that they admit when they make a mistake. I love watching the two build and grow on an idea - by listening to each other. It is fun to watch them, almost compete at times, to see who is "right."
I love to learn - and I especially like the fact I will not be "tested" over what I learn while watching Myth Busters. I ALWAYS learn something new and sometimes very unusual when I watch!
Oh to have their talents, minds and abilities! They must be happy...having a job they love (or at least seem to love). And who doesn't love a great mystery...Is it true or not?
LOVE THIS SHOW!

I do watch this show. Well not regularly but I watch it anyway. I really like their science experiments. Jamie and Adam are very funny and intelligent hosts. I also like the segments of their "sidekicks." My personal favorite episode is when they try to recreate some of Hollywood's popular stunts to test wether it can be done in real life or not.

I do watch MythBusters sometimes. It's definitely not one of my favorites, but it is one of my husband's so I watch it. Some of the experiments they do are cool, but well, some of them just seem too weird to me. My husband does watch it every chance he gets, though. He watches that channel a lot.

I do enjoy this show, and I'm a fairly recent fan after being a casual viewer for a while. I enjoy how they don't think in the short term. Instead of trying to fold a piece of paper more than 7 times, they don't give up with a sheet of notebook paper. No, they get an airplane hanger size piece of paper to disprove the myth.

Who doesn't love a good show where they seem to be legally obligated to blow something up every episode? I mean, come on. Anyway, this I would have to say is Discovery's best show right now followed by Dirty Jobs and so on. I am very happy that American Chopper moved away from my happy happy channel.

I have to say, one of the main reasons I love the show is that they always make things go boom. It's also educational in an entertaining manner, which is the best way to learn. My brother and his wife introduced me to the show a few years ago, and I've been hooked ever since.
Incidentally, my brother's name is Adam, and his wife is Jammie, hehe.

I can't say I have a specific mythbusters show, they are all great in their own way. I think that schools could learn from their method of doing things, maybe show their videos in their science classes, critique their methodology. Teach kids how to think analytically but in a fun way.
I love Buster, he is the strong silent type, always willing to participate in an experiment at any cost to him.

It's one of my favorite shows and I really admired their effort to prove whether the myth is true or not. Well at least they've tried. But the best part is blowing up stuffs heheh.

I watch the show for the same reason (I assume) that many other people watch it- it's very entertaining.
The hosts are charismatic, and they have an 'old married couple' syndrom (by that I mean that they've known each other-professionally-for a long time and occasionally bicker).
I also enjoy the fact that they are willing to go back and say: you know what? We screwed that experiment up. And if there is enough of a fan outpouring, they will redo an experiment even if they are pretty sure they got it right the first time.
I can't point to any other reality show on TV that is willing to do that. Occassionally Alton Brown of Good Eats will back-pedal on something, but that almost always has to do with the fact that the product he didn't like has been improved.
Ghost Hunters won't admit that some of their evidence is questionable (not all of it).
History show specials don't go back and say- sorry we let this guy on our show, turns out that he doesn't know what he's talking about. (Some of them should.)
Most news shows don't go back over an event that they've covered and correct themselves when they were wrong.
So I'd say that the Mythbusters are entertaining and have a bit of integrity at the same time. Which is probably why they're so popular.

i watched this show every week although sometimes if its a replay i skip it. like most people here, i like the ingenious usage of explosives. BOOM! but what really interest me are the concepts that they introduce in the show. many are seemingly simple at first glance but are really deep when you try to think about it. those guys really know their stuff

I like it because of interesting myths and Adam is always doing something funny :D I just did not like special episodes, where they just showed something that people had already seen and something extra.

The reason I started watching 24 was because of Adam and Jamie; they're just insane. Watching them do some of the things they do is knee-slapping hilarity. When they fight, it's a while new brand of fun. But the reason I continued watching it is because I'm actually learning something; I feel like I've made a small improvement to my knowledge after watching an episode.

i totally love this show! i like how they re-create the myths, bust them or sometimes confirm them. it's really entertaining and educational at the same time. jaime and adam are such a blast! their experience and intelligence totally amaze me. also, Carrie, tori and grant are hilarious, cool and smart! they just don't tell the myths...they put them to the test. lol! ^__________^
