I am so glad to see that I am not the only one who loves to listen to Ronnie Milsap. He always has and still to this day have such a good voice. I have several of his CD's, I used to have cassette tapes, remember those days? Also the days of 8 tracks and record albums?

He's totally-amazing--and has such a great sense of humor, even about his handicap. I've been to several of his concerts, and I remember how he used to tell his audience, "You're outasite!!!" Recently, I had this dream that he'd passed away. I was listening to the radio and noticing that a lot of Ronnie Milsap songs were playing--and, then, the DJ said something about "the late Ronnie Milsap." I don't know why I had that dream out-of-the-blue. I also had a dream many years ago that Connie Chung had passed away. Our local supermarket had recently started using grocery bags with teddy bears on them, and I had planned on sending one to her husband but hadn't gotten around to it. When I heard that Connie had passed away, I realized that Maury might get the wrong idea if I were to send him a teddy bear at this particular time--as if I were coming on to the nice and handsome widower. Anyway, thankfully, the part about Connie was just a bad dream--but I really did get a bunch of teddy bear grocery bags with plans on mailing them out to people who were making a positive difference (calling them Teddy Bear Awards). Maury, back then, was one of those people, because his talk show was high quality and caring. These days--when he's not running those ridiculous and tired "Who's the Daddy?" episodes--he's usually running some kind of episode that's either about overweight children or else about these troubled kids who get barked at until they cry and are then hauled off to boot-camp. Of course, those shows come with a booing audience that makes me think that we've gone back to the days of Nero and The Roman Empire. Maury is exploiting teens and children to make a fast "entertainment" buck, and it makes me sick! These days, no Teddy Bear Award for him! I would rather give him a bear trap or a mousetrap--all set to snap at him! Now THAT would be entertainment!!! Anyway, I'm glad that Ronnie is alive and well, and I'm glad you're also a fan.

I am so glad those were just dreams also. I have never been to one of his concerts but I figured his sense of humor would be like that. As for Maury, I guess they don't show his shows where I live any more. I haven't seen one in quite some time. He used to have some really good one. At least he is not as bad as Jerry Springer's show. LOL LOL

Oh, definitely, Ronnie has a fantastic voice,I never get tired of listening to his songs! You know a lot of artists that put out tapes,CD,Albums, what have you, only have 1 or 2 songs on there that I like! But on Ronnie's albums, I like all the songs!I'm just curious how many people out here still enjoy,"traditional" country!

I totally agree with you musicman, he makes all "good to listen to" songs. I do like traditional country plus a lot of the country songs now. I loved when Garth Brooks was recording and performing, wish he would make a come back but I don't look for that anytime soon. If only he and Trisha would make a CD of love songs. Hey, Ronnie can do it so why can't those two? hahaha
