Tonight is Country night on Idol

Thanks for posting this! I wasn't sure when Country week was going to be but I was hoping Chris would have a chance to perform when it did happen because he should do really well singing country. I believe he did a song earlier in the season that was a country song and he sounded awesome. He has that country twang in his voice so this could very well be his week to shine along with Jordin. (keeping my fingers crossed) I think Lakisha and Melinda may have a harder time but it's going to be interesting to watch, that's for sure! Looking forward to tonight's show.. Vote for Chris! :]

I watched it this evening and you were right about Chris and Lakisha as they did not do very well. I think Lakisha picked the wrong song for her voice. But nobody sung as badly as Sanjaya. He truly was bad tonight and did a poor job making the original singer look good. Phil was pretty good tonight and maybe country is his thing. Jordan really did well again and I would say she has to be the favorite right now.

Chris has already shown he can sing a country song earlier in the competition so I don't really agree with you on that point. Phil is more or less no matter the performances the next in line for the chopping block.

I think Chris will do great! he just needs to pick a faster country song and go for it! I'm pretty sure youre right about Phil- He seems the country type- DOn't get me wrong I love country music! I can't wait for the singing tonight! I think Blake will do great also-- I;m not sure why you think Lakesha won't-- She will probably belt out a Martina song! She has that type of overpowering voice. I can't wait to see what happens-

Yup... I believe Jordin will shine tonight together with Chris as I forsee the both of them having the edge in Country music. The ones to watch out for would be Melinda and Lakisha cause I'd love to see how to pull this off. Nevertheless whatever happens, I truly believe that this week would be the end of the road for Phil.

I personally don't this any of the contestants will do well with this week's theme. Then again, there is a good chance that one or two might pull off a half-decent performance. In short: I don't have high hopes for tonight's episode.

I predict that Blake will be the one to excel tonight along with Jordin Sparks. Phil will be the next go go while Sanjaya enjoys heavy voting from all his little fans. Melinda will do okay tonight, but I'm not so sure about Lakesha as she may struggle doing this genre of music.
