Wow... you make it sound a wonderful place, Kathy. We have a wildlife park here in England which I particularly like. It's called the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Animals roam freely in very large, fenced-off areas, which is wonderful. It makes a long walk around the park, but there's always a train you can catch from point to point in the larger area.
Then you come to a walled garden enclosure, where they have meerkats, otters and the like. I love the place.
Australia is a very popular country.. you're lucky to be on of its inhabitants, but me? I'm far too fair skinned to be able to bear the heat, so I've never travelled there. The hottest place I've been is the U.S.A. and even then, I selected to go in their Fall. lol.
Thank you for sharing and Brightest Blessings.

Hi Darkwing, Australia is a wonderful place, I have fair skin as well and a lot of your people actually have come out and lived here and Australia is not always that hot it depends on where you go and where you live, if ever you come to Australia you are certainly welcome to come and stay with me in my home it would be wonderful to have you as my guest.

yes i agree Austraila is a unique continent, since it is surrounded by oceans from all side, so it is cut off from rest of the world and animals and plant seeds cannot reach here , therefore australia has its own uniqueness, thanks dear, for showing a glimpse of austraila

I live not far from Australia Zoo up in Queensland and that is one terrific zoo, but I've never been to Sydney Wildlife World. I will go there one day when I'm in that neck of the woods - perhaps we could meet up and introduce ourselves Kathy!

I love Australia. I have been there twice now. I agree you have some wonderful animals to see. I think Sydney Wildlife must be a wonderful place to see every type of animal and plant. I especially like to see wild animals. Kangaroo Island was one of my favourite places to do this. I heard and then saw some fairy pengins there. I walked on a beach and saw seals. I saw many kangaroos and wallabies there. One night I sat with a group at a camp fire. We saw two possums and I got a good close up photo of them. On Magnetic Island I saw some koalas. In Hervey bay I enjoyed seeing many pelicans. In Kakadu National Park I saw lots of crocodiles. Snorkelling near Coral Bay I saw a turtle and a manta ray. I did a boat trip to see dugongs.
I was delighted with all the bird life of Australia. In the botancial gardens in Sydeny I liked seeing the cockatoos just before dusk. In Western Australia I saw galahs playing. This was funny! I liked Pittwater National Park. I saw two boys eating toast at the youth hostel there and two cockatoos stole a piece they were eating! The rainbow lorakeets looked amazing with all their colourful feathers.

I have a special mysterious attraction for Australia, since I was a child. I havee thought many times at going there, even trying to live there, sint it seems to be far and near from the world, is this right? Is it a godd place for arts such as cinema?

Woow that sounds really great! I would love to know more about that country and your culture and arts. Perhaps my dreams were right and I find a good place for me there, since Spain is really bad for any kind of arts (they are taking as entertainment and not as job or human development).
