That is fantastic.God is a great provider. Sometimes I forget this and complain about being broke instead of being happy that we have food on the table. What a great Church you have too. Thanks for the reminder that God Is Good.

Well great I am so happy for you that it worked out you are very lucky person. The only way things will change for me is if money dropped from the sky lol. I don't know any church's around here that will help with rent or anything so most of us are on our owns. That is why I made the dating site but it is not working out as I thought it would but oh well all is good in love and war right lol. Anyway hope all goes well for you from now on.

I was in college and my apt had been ransacked. Almost all of my food was taken - cans and frozen - the little bit I had put aside until I received my next semester's Pell grant. Now I was looking at a mess to clean up and what little was left wouldnt hold out for the month. So I ate once a day instead of twice, but I became sick in my classes. My neighbor, another college student, knew of my problem and my pride and knew I told nobosy about the break-in. One day a few friends came by while I was in class and she told them my dilemma. When I came home, she had let them in with the extra key I gave her and they had filled my cabinets and frig with groceries. They also fixed some of the broken furniture from the robbery. I was at first embarassed, but they poohed poohed me, reminding about how I would fix them meals when they came over hungry and on long nights of studying for exams. On that note, I cooked again for us all and my tattle-tale neighbor. :-)

That is such a great story, thanks for sharing. You are so right, someone is always looking over you. Just when you least expect it the Lord will send some one your way when you think things will just not get any better, and he uses someone to do just that, make things better. I am always amazed how often God provides just enough in my life to get through. Over and over again, when I was at the fringe of panic and frustration, suddenly I had just enough usually from an inexpected source. You would think I would learn not to worry. I am happy for you, that is wonderful news.

Thank you for sharing this. God does respond to prayer. As you know when my hubby was layed off, our church and individual people came to the rescue. Each time I fretted about something, it was provided the next day.

Ohh Terry, I am so happy for you. God is always great. God helps good people, just sometime take time to test you how brave you can stay or how much patience you have and soemtime he wants to know if we have believe in him or not. But God always look at us and help at time. I hope you come over with all this hard time and be free from all sort of worry.

I believe god works in mysterious ways, and Im so glad you got the help you need.The town we live in has other programs other than church to help people to pay things like elevtric bill and gas bills and help with food. it is called CAP here but you might check into other options in your area as well.Hope the bad times pass fast and things get better soon.
