Did you ever try to make games of your own?

Many people play video games for fun. But sometimes it comes to mind that if we could play our own designed games. I have a game engine called 'Torque'. It is a good game engine. But designing a game is never easy. I tried it several times and found it hard. But many people say that this is easy game engine to design games. What is your opinion? What game did you make in the past? Is there any download link of that? Please share with us.

Im learning conitecs a7 engind caled 3d game studio. Its easy to use and its fun to making in it. They use C languge to programing and it has a large comunity. Sory for my bad english.

In my opinion Dark Basic is the best way to create your games... is very simple to use because is a Basic language, but... with more options like 3D object creations and others:-)

I love to play good video games but really haven't the knowledge or computer skills to design one . If you have the skill to do that and think it's a marketable game maybe you could get a patent on the design and then try to sell it to a company . I'd bet you'd make a ton of money with it . As far as finding any links go I've not run into any ;However you could go to a forum site like Technorati and enquire there about the subject matter .

I tried once to make a game on a program called game maker but it was really confusing for me but I hope to make games when I get older as a profession.
