I spent my teenage years in Florida

I remember like if it was yesterday when I was in High School and I had so many nice friends. We were a group of cuban kids who hardly spoke a word of English ,but we were determined to become the best we could be. All of us went to college, we had part time jobs, and we would all go to the beach together. Florida reminded us so much of our homeland. I go to Florida every year now to visit my family and I go into a cuban bakery as soon as I arrive. Florida will always be a very special place for me.
