What Would Be The Ideal Mother's Day Gift For You

I always enjoyed the cards my kids made or just spending time with them on Mother's Day. Really isn't about gifts for me as much as it is about hearing "I love you, Mom". Thinking about that got my curiosity up. What would your ideal Mother's Day gift be? If you could have anything in the world for Mother's Day, what would you want? You guys out there who are "moms" too, feel free to answer this one also.

This is what my sister and I did last year for my mother (and my father on father's day). It was a real hit. We bought a special wooden box. Something that was kind of fancy and in her taste (craft stores usually carry inexpensive ones and have a large variety). We filled it with a package of her favorite candy, the pricey kind (lindor dark chocolates), a bracelet that I made her from crystal beads that had four charms that said our names and my wife's name, a fresh cut rose (obviously put in at the last minute), and we each wrote a long (2 page typed) letter expressing our fondest memories with her and how much she means to us now. We described how she has changed our lives, even the tough times we went through and how she was there for us. The gift probably cost about 40-50 dollars which was split between the two of us. If you asked my mother now...she would say it was the best gift she ever got.

I thought of many things. Backspaced over all of them. Mine are quite personal. The good Lord knows my wishes. I pray that he helps those that require his assistance.

Are we talking fantasy or reality??? lol If it was a fanatsy gift, i would like to go away for a couple of days...or go on a shopping spree but in reality, you are right...i actually got a necklace for Easter and Mothers day already, so i am just hoping for lots of hugs and kisses (and maybe a hand made card from my 10 year old :-)
