For an Indian captain some qualities are needed.I think Saurav is the best ever captain for India.He can control and guide the players well with out any confusion or hesitation.He has a got a fighting spirit and all the players are active under his captaincy.

well, captaincy also depends on the mental strength of the player. either the captain should be more strong and adament in devoloping his team win great goings (if the team is weak), or he should concentrate on his nature of play more and stand front to fight against the oppenents and leave the team to the coach (not chappel).Dravid ofcourse is a good captain with good sense of mind. but he doesnt have the guts to rule over his players or the coach. currently there is no one in the indian team who can handle the captainy. ganguly can again do it. but it is unsure tat he will take up nor would the selectors support.
