Helium Payout Problems

Anybody had any problems with Helium getting paid this month? First Helium sent me an email that said they had to upgrade their paypal account and the payments would be late. Then they paid me using a credit card! So paypal deducted a $1.53 fee from my earnings. It's not like Helium is paying out that much to begin with. And then to get hit with a fee from my puny earnings of $25.00. What is that about? Sounds like Helium might be having cash flow problems. Has anybody else had the same experience this month with Helium?

I still havent hit pay out on that site yet but this is the first I have heard of a problem. Just because pay pal takes a fee when they pay you by credit card or they where late doesnt necessarily mean they are having money problems. I really overall like that site but if it does go belly up check out Triond.com its basically the samething and you get to keep all rights to everything you write and they publish.

Havce a few articles with Triond but they haven't earned much yet. Why would a company pay using a credit card? They must be having cash flow problems.

That's interesting. Since the payment came late I kind of figured they made a deal with paypal. They used the excuse that the payment was late because they needed to upgrade their paypal account. Still seems fishy to me. I'll never understand why paypal charges the person who gets the payment a fee even though it is the payer who is using the credit or debit card. Based upon what you have siad I'm thinking Helium is just trying to pass on their paypal fees to me. And every other writer there.
