This topic might be quite hard but i hope anyone with any opinion would response. :) Doesn't matter how your opinion are as long as we can discuss and look at the best answer possible. Yes, the Bible or any religious book tells us that GOD knows the past and he knows the future. HE is so divine that HE is not restricted by time. This is some of the question i am so keen to know. Why did HE choose to create Earth still? Jesus would avoid being crucified or avoid sin if he didn't create Earth in the first place. BUT Why HE created earth. Does that mean HE is not so divine after all that HE couldn't predict the future of the EARTH?

God created humans so that he could delight in us. And lavish his love and care on us. He also wanted us to worship him most importantly and He wanted us to be completely free in our thoughts and imaginations. Thou he created humans he never wanted to put a code or set characteristic in our minds to worship Him only. We have free will. We decided to sin and do that what he never wanted us to do. He gave us everything we needed and thought to himself that we will be faithful and full of gratitude. Now that we have sinned, he does not loose hope, He still needs us because his love for us humans is eternal, and so he sent Jesus to die on the cross, so that He could bear the punishment for the sins of the whole human race and accept us into his relationship. God is sinless and cannot co-exist with sin or sinners, so to have a relationship with Him we need to believe that Jesus took the punishment for MY sins and our sins are pardoned.

hmm.. Let's get into the big picture here. This is my personal opinion about the question. God made the universe and the bible tells us that there are other planet that He have created. Every work of God has its purpose and He knows every details of His creation, its purpose and the future. We know there are other creation of God in the universe and probably our sinful earth is a tiny example of what will happen if we fall into sin. God knows that lucifer will fall into sin and if God doesn't create the earth, probably there's another reason for lucifer to fall into sin and we as human never know exactly what will be the devastating effect of Lucifer sinning. Assuming now why God made the earth, because He knows that if He create the earth it would be only a tiny black dot that affecting His divinity as a whole. I'm sure God already know what will be the result if He didn't create the earth in the first place. Lucifer will still fall into sin by a different reason and the consequences of sin will be more devastating than the consequences of sin on the earth now. That is how mysterious God work is and we should have faith that every decision that God made is simply the most perfect decision. That's why God made the earth in the first place. To avoid a greater sin.

I agree with Beerjie,i would rather spend my time focusing on what i know about God than what i don't know. There are so many questions such that in the end,all your life will be based on what ifs..
For example when God created man in his image all was well on Earth untill Lucifer felt he could be better than God(so if lucifer did not sin what would have happened then?),such questions better be left to God.I understand why this is a difficult topic because honestly God would be the better person to ask.All the other responders have given you great answers i have nothing more to add.
God bless lol

God has a purpose for us that's why he created people. this is to live everlasting on earth happily and worship him. But when he created people, God is kind that he gave "FREEWILL" to us. He gave this so people can decide and think for themselves. It was up to Adam and Eve what they want when they decided to eat the forbidden fruit. And we all know what they did that's why they lost the everlasting life. Since they lost their perfect life, they should pay it with a perfect life (as God is justice, eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth), but on their siblings there are perfect person to be born because we inherited the imperfectness of the first couple. That's why God sent Jesus Christ on earth to pay for the lost perfect life.

God created the Earth for Human being. I agree with you that God knows the future. But God has given human the power and right of SELECTION & his Commandments to Obey. He does not want to force these upon us. He wants human to love him and respect him on his own. So if we love him and obey his commandment he can even re-shape our future. Don't forget that if he knows the future, then he also has to change it also. The same thing was happend in the Garden of Eden.

God created the heaven and earth and everything in them. In the six days of creation, God created man in His image. God wanted to be with men but Adam and Eve sinned and so they were driven out of the Garden. Sin separates man from God. And so God sent His only begotten Son to take away the sin of the world. Salvation is not automatic. A person to be saved must obey God and follow the Holy Bible. All people who obeyed God during their life on earth will be saved on judgment day and will go to heaven to live with God forever. God is the Potter and we are the clay. The clay cannot question the potter why he made it that way. Anyway, God provided a way where men may have forgiveness of sins to be able to be with God in heaven forever as was the purpose of God.

God is completely sovereign. The world didn't fall into sin. He created it to be so. The Bible says so. God knew that Adam would sin. In Genesis 2, God warned Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree, but says to them what will happen "when" they do...not "if" they do. The Bible even says that he created vessels of wrath (certain people who are doomed to hell) and vessels of mercy (people who are elect). Read Romans 8 and 9. This all sounds very harsh I know. It is important to remember that He is King. No one can know his mind or heart. The word tells us that things are done for "His own good pleasure." Eph. 1:9. I hope this has been somewhat helpful.

It is a good question that is difficult to answer. I would rather spend my time on the things I do know about God, His goodness, love, etc, than questioning His works. I dare not question God. Read the book of Job from chapter 38 to 41:34. It gave me good enough reason to not question the Almighty God.
