suppose you own a one-room apartment and you're not at home tonight, suddenly you get a call from your good friend.she/he has to find somewhere to stay over for some reason.would you giver her/him key and let her/him sleep on ur bed?or will you find it difficult to refuse if you dont want to?
once my friend had no way to go back to school because it was too late at night.i let her sleep on my bed and i myself went to my friends bed in another dorm.of course i asked for her permission earlier and she said yes without any hesitation.i was kinda surprised coz she's someone who has strong cleanliness.but next day she told me she was reluctant to do that but couldnt refuse me in case i had no place to sleep lol.
so if you face a similar situation, would you be as nice as my friend even though you not willing to?

I would prefer not. But I once had a friend come over and he said he was tired. So he slept on my bed and I didn't have the heart to turn him down. I changed the bed sheets after he left. :P

I would only let my very best friends to sleep on my bed. And when I was reading your situation, I asked myself the names of the people I know whom I would let doing that. Only two names came into my mind! I would say YES without any hesitation to those two friends if they need somewhere to sleep for a night or two. But for other people I know, I would make up some excuses and won't let them do that. It's not about the cleanliness. I think the bed is really private and personal and I would feel very uncomfortable to let other sleep on it even though the sheets are changed and everything. So best friends are OK, but others NO!
