I'm a bit confused as well. I've always received the responses to my discussions in my email. Now what I'd love to get are emails for when people comment to my responses to other people's discussions. It would make it so much easier to know when that happens without trying to search for it. Can you fill us in a bit on what you mean?

I'm not sure but this seems better so you know what the reply was when you respond to someone. I think it's great.

I do not think the staff reads all the discussions. Probably just takes a look at several hundred a day.

Who do you think reads the discussion? the mylot staffs? i dont thinks so.. there are gazillions of discussions for them to read in a day! whew! though work to do.. :)

I don't know that they can read all of the discussions. I think they depend on the MyLot users to keep them posted and for people to contact them about questions, suggestions for improvements and report discussions. I think MyLot tries very hard to be responsive and helpful. That's been my experience anyway.

I'm not sure I understand what you are talking about. Can you please elaborate? The responses are sent back to us. What do you mean by that?

i dont know but i think they programmed it that way so that we could at least read all the responses and rate it as well its what we call auto responder im just guessing here not sure of it though..

I think they read a lot of them, but I doubt they can read them all.' I feel left out. I have not gotten any thing in my e-mail. I guess I will have to get on my profile and turn something on!

Yes, I think the discussions are read. I read them but don't always respond because the topic may not be of interest to me. Do you read and respond to all of the discussions?

I was wondering did you get paid for the response that are sent to you? I really don't know if they read it or not.

We spoke and they listened.. now let's see how long it takes before we get a spell checker on here !! Come on Mylot.. I know you're reading this....WE WANT A SPELL CHECKER !!! LOL I love the fact that we get emails on replies to our responses. No more sorting through pages of replies to see if someone responded to you !! WOO HOO Party at my house...who's bringing the chips...lol.

Lol, I'm glad I read down because I was totally lost! However, now I understand I can respond. :P I know so many people have said it would be awesome if mylot sent us notifications letting people know if someone responded to their response. I think it's a great addition personally. It makes everything a lot more user friendly. I don't think Mylot admin read all the discussions though lol. There are far too many posted each day for them to check. I think the only time they read is when it comes to us having reported someone.

At first, i did not understand what you said, i thught maybe you said that after so many days that there were problems with the email notification, everything is alright now. but luckily i just read your response that said that we start getting notifications to the response of ours to other people posts. First of all i think it is great. and second of all i really do not know if mylot reads all the discussions, it is a little bit hard to believe, there are too many of them.

Well i think yes because one cant respond to a discussion without reading it. In order for us to know what we are talking about, it is necessary for us to read and understand the discussion/situation before we make our opinion.

Hi CaroleeKaufold. I'm not sure what you are talking about. What did mylot do? How do they send the responses back to us. Do you mean when our friends respond to our discussions then we can chose to be notified? As for mylot staff reading our discussions I think maybe they do sometimes. But there are way too many members so they can not read all of them of course. I think it's good if they do because some people really make offensive comments/answers and post discussions that are disrespectful of some people. When mylot staff find those kinds of discussions they simply delete them and that's good.

Nope...I dont see hows they have the time to do this.
