Are drugs really worth it?

Ive been so curious about this topic about drugs. Is doing drugs really worth it? I mean the feeling may be good but, in the long run, it can have devistating effects. I dont think most kids dont think about there future, they just say "well, i dont care, thats not going to happen to me, nothing bad is happening to me, so why stop?" and even though they learn about drugs and peer pressure and all of that, they still do it. Im wondering why, if they know the effects and learned about how drugs can deeply effect your life, why do them? I think doing drugs are just stupid and i care about my future. What do you think?
