the body scrub I use is 100% natural. I think my skin is much better and not as rough since I started using a combo.I always make sure to use the scrub at least twice a week

Have you tried using common kitchen stuff as body scrub? Beauty experts advice it since the materials are all natural like mixing sugar with baby oil or oatmel and milk. I'm actually thinking of trying it myself.

I prefer body washes over soap since i am allergic to numerous bar soaps. Plus the body wash has a better scent and feels much smoother and nicer on my skin than soap does. I love the body washes. My skin seems to be sensitive towards soap, some detergents and deodorants. Body wash all the way for me.

Hi,K! I hope this comment goes through.I just tried to send you one but there came up server error.Any way,my dad is sensitive to bar soaps. He gets these red blotches for hours after he has taken a shower .I tried to get him to switch to body washes for men but he said he doesn't like the film it leaves on his skin.Ya know,I use them and i don't have a problem, lol. He's just being stubborn.

I use soap, mostly because it is cheaper than body washes. If I bought body washes, the kids would be gluttens & squeeze out big globs of it, & it would be empty in no time. Much better to be economical & use soap.

I can see why you would have to use bar soap.Kids love to squeeze i notice.

I prefer soap. I have a couple of horses and I tend to get pretty dirty working with them, so I feel like body washes just don't get me as clean as soap does.

In your case after working with horses,I can see why you would prefer a bar of soap, lol. I love horsey's by the way.

Body washes are the preferred thing in my house. I like them better than bar soap because I have this issue with other people's body hairs and germs getting on the bar soap. It really grosses me out. If I have to use bar soap, I cannot stand to share the bar with anyone. There are very few things that I will have bar soap for. I buy kids bar soap for my son, but he is the only person who uses it. I have a men's body wash for my husband and I have my own perfumey body wash. I buy floral scented bar soaps for my overnight guests, but I prepare a little basket for them with stuff so that they know to take their soap and scrubby home with them. If the leave it behind, I throw it away.

It seems like we have something else in common. I didn't want to mention the body hair thing cause I didn't want to gross them out -but since you brought it up,lol- I am the same way. I was so glad when they started getting body washes out.I have a big thing about hair period. I would have a fit if I went in the shower and found a body hair or head hair dried up in the soap.Yuck. I can't stand to see a loose hair on my clothes are any where around and I don't even want to talk about what happens if i get a hair in my mouth lol

I like using body wash when I have time to lather, take my time and just enjoy the softness and the scent of the body wash. However here are days when I really have to rush and on those days I just use a simple soap bar. I have discovered Dove Pro-age bar soap. It's very soft on the skin and the scent is wonderful.

It seems like you are not the only one that likes to use both.I was thinking of tryiing one of the dove anti aging facial soap(the liquid kind). I don't if it would be any good though

I love body washes. The Olay products are great. But, my problem is the perfumes that are in the washes. I have to use one that is for sensitive skin and they are hard to find. I have been using a bar soap that is for sensitive skin and have better results with it.

Oh, I wanted to add that my husband prefers body wash products over bar soap. He loves the ones made especially for men. They do smell very nice!

Good for your husband.I wish my dad would follow suit but he just absolutely refuses. I do think they should make more for sensitive skin.

I am a sucker, for anything that smells good and moisturizes. My husband sometimes gets frustrated at all the products in the bathroom and shower.... LMAO it depends on my mood at the moment what I want to use. I love bath oils and salts also. Now that I am older my skin gets really dry, so I am always experimenting with new products.

I only use body wash cos' I find the soaps too drying for my skin. The body wash leaves a nice fragrance and doesn't dry out my skin too much.

i have noticed that . I always use body washes that have the lotion in it.

Hiya, JerseyGirl.....How is your Dad doing?? I also love the body washes.....in a hot tub of Calgon....nothing beats that "alone" time. I buy the baby soaps fot my 4 yr. old and bubble bath---he loves it. My husband likes the men's hair and bocy soap that comes in liquid form like bodywash...it has a wonderful scent as well. My mother however, prefers bar soap.....I buy her Dove or Caress.... Great topic, my friend.

I got your message my friend, and sent you one in return. I love the ocean scents, rain scents, and the cucumber melon scents. The same with the Calgon, I love the ocean scents. I do not like the real flowery scents....and I love the feel of the extra moisture remaining on my skin, it absorbs into the skin.....added softness. I do not suntan and avoid the sun when I can..when I can not, I use sunblock which also adds to the softness of the skin.

I prefer body wash to bar soap because body wash doesn't leave a sticky film on my skin like bar soap does. I am also squeamish about sharing bar soap with other people. It is much more sanitary for 2 or more people in a household to use the same bottle of body wash as opposed to a single bar of soap in the shower. As far as brands of body wash goes, I tend to lean towards Dial because it's antibacterial but it doesn't overdry my skin, and I like the fragrance of it.

I am the same way with bar soap. It's so disgusting to find someone's body hair dried to the soap.Ickkkk! I much rather use the body wash and it is tons more sanitary. If I could only get my dad to see it that way.

I like body wash because of the great fragrances as well as the moisturizers. I use soap for my hands and face but I generally use body wash in the shower. My husband was never into body washes, but my youngest bought him some for Christmas (it looks like a jug of anti freeze and the coordinating shampoo looks like a bottle of motor oil... very cute). He had to try it then because our baby spent her own money and picked it out special for him. He uses it occasionally but still prefers soap.
