European Union Putting Money Into Fusion

That's right, the EU is putting billions of dollars into production of a fusion energy plant hoping to create one that will work in 10 years time. Unlike fission energy (nuclear) the bi-product of fusion is water meaning free energy. Now, if this plan works, it will mean a new world for everyone. But what is the US doing to help the EU? Nothing, that's what. No money, no engineers, nothing. What do you guys think about fusion energy and the fact that the US is doing nothing to help with it?

I think this is a good alternative sources of energy if they can make it work. I have heard of this term but not sure if anyone has done it and produce energy from it. It is a promising energy resource and if we can make good use of it then much better than nuclear which creates a lot of problems because it could be made into weapons of mass destruction.

I would say the fusion technology is a very promising technology of the future then. Nuclear fission is a mor dangerous alternative although readily available technology. I hope that EU could finally create one in the near future.
