srilanka vs ireland

By this time, i am typing this message, sri lank has already won the match convinsingly against ireland. But i still don't know why sri lanka had rested their top bowlers against australia?!

You are right, Ireland did try to win the match. They tried hard, a wicket fell, They tried harder, another wicket fell, more trying, more wickets, but they ended up in a very lucky number of 77. Then they took a wicket in the first over. That's grand. The match is still going on. Ireland is still trying to win it. Pushing it past Lunch time will be a win for Ireland.

Well Ireland have done a brilliant job so far ... far better than anyone expected. It would be good to see Ireland come up and maybe one day be a real force in international cricket. Of all the newer teams, Ireland are doing better than anyone else ... they are not only playing good cricket but having fun at the same time. So for me it would be Ireland on the basis that they are trying very hard and playing well against teams who are normally better competition than they themselves are. So for this one Ireland gets my vote ... and support too of course.

no doubt that srilanka will win and i too am in favour of them.even i want them to win the world cup as well.
