Do you still say grace whenever you eat?

I dont mean just with the family at home - at the workplace, school, taking a snack outside, a picnic, dinner on the town? With a crowd or alone? Popcorn at the cinema? Ice cream from a street vender? We Muslims give thanks to God before AND after EVERY time we eat - not just at the popular meal times. Do Christians? Jews? Anyone else? I'm not trying to make trouble, just very curious at the habit of grace and where it stands in the modern world. I've been called 'old fashioned' because I do so.

Yes I do say grace before every meal. It is a way of saying to God that we are grateful of His blessing, while we also remember those you do not have. For me, it is nothing old fashioned in thanking God for what He has done and given to me.

Ima a christian and i still say grace before every meal. Its a way of thanking God (Allah) for the provisions made.Whenever i visit other homes,i notice that some do not say grace before their meals/after.Since i can't impose my religion on anyone,i just thank God in my heart for the food and the family providing it to be blessed...nothing old fashioned about that.

Yes, we say grace every time we eat, no matter where we are, we thank God for our nourishment as Christians. In addition to that we thank God for all things that He gives us every day. Without God we would have nothing and be nothing.

MY familly usually don't say grace before or after meals. I guess we were not used to it. We are Christians but that doesn't mean we are not grateful for God's grace. BUt, we make it apoint that we say our prayers at night and thank God for all the blessings for the day especially keeping us safe and the food that will nourish us to give strength and do our daily activities. We just do the thanksgiving prayer at night. Goodluck!
