Will countries like US where people can get guns easily ever engoy peace?

It's a grevious tragedy what just happened,will tragedies like this happen again?I think it will,not because I'm a inhuman person dont care about this I really as grevous as every body maybe even more, cause I'm a college student,I'm about the same age as the victims,I know vividly what a tragic loss this is.But people in US can still get guns easily so I think it's unavoidable.Just take a look at the number of the shooting massacres happened recent years then you will get it.In my country it's strictly banned from private owning guns so I think it's time for countres like US to do the same thing.
