Not too many people are aware of what is happening to our planet today or how it could affect their future. Not many countries seem to be bothered about what they should be doing in order to address this huge problem of global warming that we have toady. I wonder what are we waiting for, i wonder when will the bell finally ring. We today as educated individuals do we even understand the seriousness of global warming? Friends, do you think that we are doing enough to save our planet and also ourselves in the process?

I believe the people who hold the power to do anything in any serious way are not doing so. I am only one person with one voice and not a CEO of some corrupt corporation running things. So to no surprise, my influence can only go so far. However, those with the power need to do their part or once again and then again those with less will get even less. A balance in our world civilization might bring about balance in our environment. Something tells me that the runners are still stuck at the starting gate wearing 500 lb shoes.

It a pretty good concern for me, but I think that we aren't doing enough since the problem is growing. As individual, we must stop using big cars using instead low fuel consuming cars. Years after year, Pickup, VUS, mini-vans are the best sellers on the planet. Why not basing our buying decision upon the fuel consumption of the car ? Why not always buy the Energy star solution ? Why there is so little people doing recycling ? So much questions, little answers. We need to educate relatives about the dangers of doing the wrong choice and make pressure on gouvernments to make the environment the #1 concern. I can't understand that country that says that he's the much advanced on the planet doesn't even acknoledge the Global Warming. We must vote for the right persons to make Kyoto appen.
