aha,my friend,what are you study programming languages now?I study the vb now,but my teacher ask us to buy the "Ajax",because he say that is very well for edit HTML.

I admit it. An article about an up-and-coming web technology is hardly breaking news. My friends are in the web development biz, new technologies, languages and tools pop up every day. Most of them fade into obscurity. This year, however, a new technology has been introduced that may change how people use the web. I'll spare you the acronym for now, but this new approach to web development can make a site behave like a desktop application...ajax. When a new technology improves how the web works, we get really excited. Technology improvements rarely have discernible effects on how a website is used. In the end, what difference does it make which database or programming language is behind the scenes? Programmers get jazzed by snappier database performance, but as long a site works, normal people don't really care. But sometimes a new technology causes us to stand up and take notice. One can expect a few unexpected results from an AJAX driven website too. Such as a particular URL may over time display different content as a result of user action. Bookmarking and navigating the browser history will turn up unexpected results as the URL never changes but only the content. This is a major problem for search engine indexing of such a page because the pages that a particular link will lead to will never be indexed by Search engines because javascript code is used to fetch the content of that page at the same URL. Search engines cannot follow such links and therefore will just skip such content.

not all programming language actually. ajax only can be used for javascript enabled client. without that even you are using web browser nothing gonna happened. example : most ie6 having difficulties if the security level setted too high. the browser wont let your javascript to create xhtmlrequest (activeXobject in ie), so your script wont be executed.
