curtains or blinds for the windows

we use blinds for some windows and curtains on other windows depending on its location and function.
what do you use for your windows? blinds or curtains? both? why? do you base it on fashion? function? design? please share your ideas. thanks mylotters!

if i were to choose between the two, i would prefer to put curtains on windows than blinds. it's more flexible when it comes to decorating the room. although, i agree that if you want a light-free room, blinds are the best way to go.

We actually have some that have both blonds and curtains. In the bedrooms we have both blnds and curtains. I prefer blinds because they let in sunlight without having everyone stare into your home. My partner doesn't like as much sunlight because he is trying to sleep so we added curtains.

Hello! I use curtains on all in windows because there is not even a signle open window in my house although there are 20 windows in my house. I mean all the windows have designed bars, so blinds would neither look nice on them nor they are needed for such windows...vani^_^

Curtains if u like the cosy feel , but blinds are the way to go if you are more into modern styles,, heavy cutains always go well with warm colors.
