choosing between being clever or being good looking

if you ask me this question,i will answer i choose being clever,simply because if your clever enough you can make people think you are good looking or you can invent somethin to make you good looking.
which can you choose?

Look is quite elusive. So good or bad look doesnot matter. Presence of mind matters. In your context I think be clever is that I would choose.

I think I wouldopt for good looking. Although being clever is the greater value it doesn't make life easier. I think, now that it is too late, that I would rather have ben beautiful and looked after for it than having been clever and resented.
