Well, there are a lot of EBooks available free over the internet. But, still reading on your computer is not as fun as reading a printed one. I would always prefer to go for a prtinted version of a book over a EBook. So, i guess the reason is simple. The printed counterparts are mobile and much more convenient to read.

Although i utlize electronic books, manly for educational and information purposes, I continue to prefer the printed version when reading a novel, the feeling of the book, beeing able to read it anyplace, not just in front of the computer, and the eyes don`t suffer has much when looking to a book as when looking to a pc monitor for longs periods of time.

e-books cannot beat printed books. There are more people who prefer the printed copies because it is more handy. We can bring them anywhere we want to whereas e-books are just there in the computer unless you print it and that would be already printed and not electronic. There are more people who do not have computers and can connect to the internet than those who can readily access to the internet. Then the printed copies can be read by many other people. After reading, the owner may have others read it too. Another reason is that printed books can be kept or displayed in bookshelf from where you may pull out anytime you feel like using it.
