However this time, the actress may receive less of bouquets for talking about HIV/AIDS, and get more brickbats for being kissed by Hollywood actor and AIDS activists Richard Gere.At a function, held as a part of the ongoing Seena Taan Ke campaign by the Truckers Corporation of India Foundation.
The act by Gere and Shilpa hasn't gone down well with most of the Indian audience,and they demand an apology from both the actors.

This is pretty ridiculous. He wasn't doing anything wrong and may now face arrest over this. They should be happy a US Hollywood actor is helping promote their cause and getting people in the US to pay attention.

I don't know what photos they are showing in India, but all of the photos (and video) they show here, she does not look embarrassed at all. She is reacting like she is enjoying the attention and the show he is putting on for her. I will be very very amazed if this doesn't turn out to be a huge stunt put on for the media.
Even Shetty herself has said that the kiss "was overboard but not obscene" and that "Gere was only re-enacting his moves from the film "Shall We Dance" to entertain the audience at the AIDS event and communicate in a Bollywood style as he did not speak Hindi." Those don't sound like the words of someone who was or is embarrassed by a situation.

Ya they must apologies they have done a blunder they must understand value of Rich Culture of India, how can they do it. this is madness and nothing more than that
