What do you use friendster for?

I haven't tried using Friendster akin to a dating site. I'm afraid I'll encounter dubious accounts and instead of befriending a guy, I'd end up befriending a girl or a serial killer or pedophile or some other scary person LOL I only use friendster to check on my real friends, see their photos, check updates on their lives and send a message or two sometimes.

I use friendster to keep in touch with my former school mates, batch mates and my friends who are already in the States. I only keep my friendster account as exclusive as possible to those whom I know only. I don't accept strangers . I have one account for those who would like to be friends with me but I don't know personally.

i use friendster to look for lost friends and also to let my lost friends look for me... i dont add to many friends especially strangers... i havent tried matching up with someone using friendster either... hehehe... and also i use it to know the last chikkas or news about my friends, (especially my Ex's...)

I used friendster for communicating or finding my long lost friends. It's a big help for me because now I have news in all my friends and it's easily to connect with different kinds of people. But I haven't used the friendster in dating, sometimes I usually used it in searching my favorite actors/actresses. Hoping that they have a friendster account but most of the times there's a lot of people who's pretending to be somebody they are not.

actually, I guess I use friendster for a networking. first I'd like to let everybody know who I am, that's the main purpose. then usually I use it as media to promote my online business or something like that. I usually mail my friend one by one. to keep them in touch, to let them know my business. also I wrote a bulletin to let everybody in my network know what recently I'm doing, for example mylot. before i use friendster just for pleasure, i did made five accounts which are full, almost 1000 friends each, i dont reallyknow whos adding me and who i am adding to, i think the reason why is friendster is common here in the philippines that if you have many accounts and friends, you are famous, but now, i made one official account, which is only meant for keeping in touch with my friends and finding my old friends too.

I use friendster to stay connected with my friends here in the Philippines and abroad. The great thing about friendster is it's ability to connect different people with such a creative modern manner. Here, I am talking about those HTML comments and testimonials and those customized page layouts that in one way or another shows a person's character. Friendster really is great!
