How many desktop icons are there?

Now, I have about 10. I try to minimise the amount of icons as they can be very unsightly.

haha funny i counted it. i only have 10 icons. i don't want to fill up my monitor of so many icons, because i'm fond of collecting anime wallpapers, and if i fill up my monitor screen with icons, i'll not able to see my wallpaper clearly. and i don't want my monitor screen to look so messy.

i have more or less around 15 desktop icons. i like adding icons because it is easier for me to go to a certain program that i like. it will also need a little effort with these shortcuts. aside from the shortcuts, i also have list of favorites on my internet files. i think it has at least 50 links :)

Hello asteriskec,actually i am very hate untidy desktop. So normally i will clean those untidy desktop and make it as little icons as i can. So only those program that i use frequently , only i put on desktop, so roughly about 15 icons i have on my desktop.

i have 34 icons on my desktop right now, considering i have a big resolution with my 17 incehes widescreen monitor, almost 50 percent are shorcuts and other are notes and system utilities.
