The movie SEVEN usually ends up on lists such as this and it is curiously missing..the head in the box ending was one of the greatest.

A very interesting list indeed. I haven't seen all those movies, but some I have seen I would have put further up on the list. Like the Usual Suspects. An excellent ending and excellent acting should be higher. And I think Casablanca should be lower. The only this great about the ending was, 'this could be the start of beautiful friendship'. Ok, a great line, and maybe a bit of a tear jerker, but not to be warrented so high.
Just my opinion.

I agree with you. While I don't think I agree with all the movies on the list, or the orders of said movies....I think it's a good perspective and I think this person really backed up wither choices well. I enjoyed reading his descriptions and his reasons as to why he put them on the list.
I also enjoyed that some movies you would not normally see on a "top 50" list are on this list. For example, "Real Genius" (which clocks in at number 25) which is a favorite of mine even into adulthood. That ending never fails to make me smile, and wish that it could happen in real life. Afterall, I love popcorn!
