my opinion, and it is only my opinion, is that some, not all, teachers are nothing but educated babysitters. dont get me wrong..there are many wonderful teachers out there but some of them are just babysitters that have education to back them up. i have had wonderful teachers in my life and so has my daughter. but there have been a few that shouldnt have been teachers in the first place. i think a good teacher teaches education, obviously, but also teaches life skills. a teacher should teach stability, honesty, caring, and teach listening as well as good speaking skills. just my thoughts. hope to not pis* anyone off..lol.

I have to agree with you, some not all. My friends daughter had teacher who was just out of college thrown into a classroom in the middle of the year, and couldn't teach worth a hill of beans. My friend had to pull her litle girl out of that classroom and put her in another one so that she could learn something.
I love my daughter's teacher. She's been teaching for almost 25 years and is great.

Teachers are our role model. The education that they teach us will be with us until the end. It is our duty to nurture it.
