Are we being too hard on Sanjaya?

I am seeing that we are all hard on Sanjaya, but is it his fault? I doubt he is voting for himself 10 million times. I have certainly made my share of negative posts. He just looks like a deer caught in the headlights and I think his comfort zone passed him a few weeks ago. I don't think he feels right about this. He knows what people are saying, and I think he is saying it too. He got a full two pages in 'STAR' magazine. How many other contestants have they profiled? Not many until they get to the final 4, so what makes this boy so special? I think his fame has taken him by surprise.

I think it has taken him by surprise and also knows that he does not belong where he is. Just like the song he sang last night, Give them something to talk about, he even made the comment that alot of people are already doing it. He knows, but what can he do about it but keep trying or quit. I think he is embarrassed and sometimes does things hoping to be the one that is voted off.

Like all his cool hairstyles? They are enough to get him voted off. Quitting the show would just make people talk more about him. I didn't read anything in 'STAR' about the other contestants. We here on 'MyLot' talk about him alot. He seems to be the center of alot of posts.

How true, but I think he'll do ok with an album that he works on in a studio and I wish him all the luck.

I do see why kids like him and i think thats were he has most of his fans. I do not like him at all. Sure he must be talented since he is there, but he should have gone home weeks ago. So many better artists got voted off before him,.

I use to feel sorry for him. That is until the night that Simon said "Let's try something different - Incredible!" and then Sanjaya said "Welcome to the universe of Sanjaya!" What is wrong with that boy? I don't care how much attention I was getting, I wouldn't get that cocky. He is letting it go to his head. So I think he is bringing some of it on himself. It is a bad combination when you aren't as good as the others but you are that cocky. Melinda has the right approach... she can sing and she doesn't act like that. That is why I like her so much.

That's probably why, because of his attitude and his suprising thematic looks each week. He's just a kid, so maybe all this overwhelming fame is getting to him, a little to much. Simon dosen't like him, niether do the other judges. Maybe he'll get voted out tonight, but then again he should have gotten voted off weeks ago. Maybe it's not his fault, he can't help being the way he is, but I worry about what if he did win. I don't know how that would pan out, but people do seem to like him. He can sing yes, but he has yet to find a song that actually suits him and he hasen't. Could it be because he is not exactly American? I've been wondering about that. Nothing against Sanjaya, I just wish he had a louder voice and a little better attitude about his surroundings. Right now I want Melinda to win.
