Please GuateMon, don't tell me that you are jealous, you know the ind of impression I get from your your post. It doesn't matter whom he is closer to, but as long as you and your hubby would love him as he is, whehther he adores you or papa, I think you should do your best as a caring other for her.

:) I´m not jealous, actually, I think it is wonderful that he is so close to his papa, especially since my husband never had a great relationship with his dad. My husband is a wonderful dad and deserves the adoration of his son. But also, as I mentioned above, I am the one who my son wants when he is hurt, which I think is pretty special, too. I love my little boy with all my heart, no need to doubt that!

well naturally my 3 year old daughter is closer to me because she doesn't see her father very often. she goes 2 weekends a month so she does not see him all that much.

I have to admitt on different days I am closer to another one. It all has to do with their needs and how we can help each other.

I have a close relationship with each of my children. I try to take time on a daily basis for us to have some alone time together. My daughter has an extremely close relationship to her maternal grandmother because my mom has always been there to help me raise her.

My daughter is only 5 weeks old but won't be able to meet her dad until she is 3 months old (gotta love the military!). Right now, of course, she is attached to me more than anyone else in my life. I think it has to do with being the one that feeds her! She is a girl though so I'm prepared for the day when she'll hate me and love her dad. Daughters and dads always have a different, special bond than moms and daughters.
