I am 36 and I was made aware of my skins needs since I was in my teens so, I ensure that I always have an SPF factor in my daily moisturizer of at least 15 or more if I go to the beach. The other thing I do is address my skin its needs, for example, in the winter I ensure I get a cream that hydrates where as in the summer I use a lotion, which is light but still hydrates as we still loose moisture due to the sun. Each one of us has a unique type of skin and you first must find out what yours is and then get the creams that will complement it. Also, you may want to clean your skin, especially the face every evening by using a cleanser and if possible a tonic; I don't use soap or foam because it dries my skin but if you have an oily skin that will be great for you. Last but not least, to find out your type of skin address a beauty counter in any Mall or your doctor and start from there. The food you eat and your own lifestyle also has a word to say with regard to your skin... Hope this helps.

MagdalenM is right. Aside from her suggestion, eating fruits and vegetable will help you to have a healthy younger looking skin. Also regular exercise will remove the toxins out of your body through sweating and maintain the its firmness.
