If you could do 1 thing over in life what would it be and why?

I would certainly stay in school and finish school. I am happy where i am now, but if i could have made a lot more money and been at the same spot in my life, maybe i could have a car and a house as well as a happy and loving family, then that would be a bonus. STAY IN SCHOOL! it seems like its easier to just drop out, but it makes the rest of your life harder.

If I could do it over, I would have went directly to college from high school, but whoops, I thought I was big and bad and got married instead. Now I cant regret the marriage because of my oldest kids :) But I do regret not taking the time then, because now with 4 kids it's so hard to even think about taking classes, I keep saying maybe later. Not a good thing.

i would buy a house before i had the kids as hubbie and i had two jobs each and had lot of money,now we cant a ford to buy a house

I would like to go back to the time when i decided which university to go. At that period, my family financial was really tight and I'd given up my plan to study abroad. I should have not worry to much on tuition fees and living cost and proceed to study LAW in UK as what I always wanted, then graduate in a local Univeristy 4 years EE course. If time can reverse, this is the first and only thing I would like to do.

I would do my high school years over because I did good my freshman year and then every year after that I really didn't put as much effort into doing good like I should have and then I ended up taking night classes just to graduate. If I could do that over I definitely would so that I could have taken my education alot more seriously.

Well it would surly be to have been able to finish college, the reason being is that when I started at the local community college I was on financial aid, but I was not into my work, in ways I feel I was just slacking, but if I could go back, I'd put myself to work harder and would have at least earned my Associates then I would have moved on to the University and finished up.

This one may seem small compared to others mentioned, but to me it has always been one big regret. If I could do one thing over, it would be to have treated my best friend in high school differently. She was great. Her parents were NUTS and I let that and peer pressure come in the way of our friendship. Her parents are still NUTS, but I imagine she is still pretty great..she was just that type of person. I guess I should have been stronger, but I was a kid. I would do it differently if I was given the chance, I would stick by her. Great question..
