What is Second Life?
Second Life is a 3-D virtual world entirely built and owned by its residents. Since opening to the public in 2003, it has grown explosively and today is inhabited by a total of 5,673,475 people from around the globe.
From the moment you enter the World you'll discover a vast digital continent, teeming with people, entertainment, experiences and opportunity. Once you've explored a bit, perhaps you'll find a perfect parcel of land to build your house or business.
You'll also be surrounded by the Creations of your fellow residents. Because residents retain the rights to their digital creations, they can buy, sell and trade with other residents.
The Marketplace currently supports millions of US dollars in monthly transactions. This commerce is handled with the in-world unit-of-trade, the Linden dollar, which can be converted to US dollars at several thriving online Linden Dollar exchanges.

what sis?? i'm a bro, still haven't tried it, first i have to download a program so i can "play" in there, but i will do it in my house tonight, so still any opinion on this subject will be posted tomorrow

I'm doing a school work involving second life. Just like myLot this is a fictitious number since most of the user do not log in ever.
And I can say that you can't make cash out of second life unless you are a big company. It is like the game "the sims" only you are playing not against the machine but with real people.
You can even make constructions of your own, but unless you pay them to get a terrain, the construction will be deleted when you log off.
It is a nice way to spend some spare time and make some online friends.

i tried this second life
but it requires well configured system with good processor
and graphics card currently with my system configuration i cant access that
one it is a backdrop considering people of my kind

I browsed through the site one day and was surprised at the size of the download file! There is no way my PC can handle that amount of MB. My internet connection isn't all that great either, so the download would take like a week or more lol. It is an interesting concept though.
