Anyone know anything about ferrets?

I love ferrets, although, they do stink, but I already have a zoo of pets in my house. I have a cat, dog, a gerbil, and between my brother and I, eight hermit crabs. I would get a ferret, if it didn't stink, and my cat wouldn't go after it.

I have a ferret with cats as well as a zoo of other critters. The ferret should get along with the cats, my ferret thinks it is a cat and plays with them as they play with each other. LOL If you have a dog though ferrets tend to bite them, I don't know why that is but we have a dog as well and she could be sleeping and minding her own business and the ferret will go up to her and take a bite out of her butt or leg or something. The dog is actually scared of her now. LOL. Yes they do have a musky smell to them but you will probably get used to the smell of it. Keep in mind as well that the ferret is very strong and if you have the gerbil cage on a table or somewhere the ferret can get to it will be able to knock it down.

I won't be getting a ferret then. I have a gerbil anyway. Thanks for the advice.

ferrets are weird animals I have had one for 7 years. as for the car thing mine hates cats and has beaten. I love mine he has a smell that takes some getting used to but there great pets.
