Blasphamous rumours?

Controversial or not. To me this song is great and a fantastic peice of creative writing but what do you think. i listen to this song most days and its my all time favourite. does that make me morbid lol. let me know your opinions please on the song

It's funny, I am a huge Depeche Mode fan and that used to be one of my least favorite songs by them. It had nothing to do with the content, I just didn't care for it. Over time though it really grew on me and I actually think the lyrics are great. I can see how some people would be offended by them though. I'm not religious at all so they don't bother me.

Thank you for your imput .I think that if it was released these days the lyrics would not have the same impact that they did yester year.i think these days the taboo line has grown beyond anything we could have imagined to be acceptable back then.

I've taken the chorus as my personal motto... simply because I believe my luck would go just that way! I'm also a huge fan, since '83... one could say obsessed! I'm glad there are people here who recognize talent! TC!!
