Most family household consist of one or two parents and children.Sometimes children do not live with their father and mother. Instead they may live with grandparents, aunt, uncle and other family members or family friend. Even though there are multiple kinds of families they are equally important and special.

My household consist of me and my husband and out two sons age 13 months and 4 1/2 years. We are not as "traditional" as we appear though, as we are a Jamaican/Danish/Jamaican household, and since we have lived in seperate countries for the last two years. My sons and I lived in Denmark, while I was taking care of my mother, who is very sick, and my husband stayed back in the U.S., and travelled back and forward once or twice a year. Two months ago, the boys and I moved back to stay here for good; however, we still travel back and forward between the countries, although we will be staying here for the majority of the time.

Hi smartmom, here in the Philippines we are really "traditional" in terms of family..it's because I guess...it's all about religion. 85% of us are Catholics we sacred marriage and family.a friend eunixia
