Do You Wear A Watch?

For years I never wore a watch. I found them to be a pain in the neck as they were always breaking down. Now I cannot live without my watch. I finally broke down a few years ago and bought myself a watch with diamonds around it. It is my favorite watch of all and I wear it every day. Even when I'm wearing my sweats, I look down and see my pretty watch and always know what time it is. Do you wear a watch and if so, is it a special watch that was given as a gift for that you got for a special milestone?

My wife bought me a gold watch for my twenty first birthday and I have been wearing it until quite recently. I have left it in to the jewellers to be cleaned and repaired at various intervals but now it so old that I have decided to keep it as a memento to pass on to my children. I don't bother to wear a watch now. I carry my mobile phone everywhere with me so I can use this to check the time.

i am planning to buy my boyfriend a watch, too. atleast, everytime he looks at his wrist and sees the watch, it will remind him of me.

i always a watch everytime i go out of the house and go somewhere. i feel empty without a watch on my left wrist. i have like 7 watches and i am still planning to buy a new one. i just can't resist watches. i don't know why. maybe i am a time conscious person as my friends say.
i don't have watches which i think are of with sentimental values. i bought them all myself. but i still love taking care of each watch i bought. afterall, it's still my money.

I waer it sometimes when we're making multiple stops out, or if I need it during a special job..otherwise I don't really wear it. I love my watch -- even though it's in army time and an hour fast lol, partly 'cause it's made of steel and water resistant..making it practical, like many things I wear tend to have to be due to my rough & tumble life heh.

I wore a watch when I was in high school. After that, I put it aside, cause I think it's troublesome to wear it everyday in the morning and take it down in the evening. Certainly, without a watch, it's unconvenient sometimes, but anyhow, I've used to it. Now, I use my cell phone as a watch.

I used to wear a watch, but I don't anymore. It was an analog watch, and it was black and had a square "face". The numbers were in a weird, strechy font and it was very unique looking. Of course, it was a WalMart watch, so it was a little cheap but that works for me. It never broke. ;)
After daylight savings time changed, I was just too lazy to change the watch. Next time when I get a new watch (I hope to sometime, within a few months maybe), I will get a digital watch that easily tells me the time instead of analog. The'yre handier. :P

I have always worn a watch. I have a habit of looking at my left wrist for time. There have been quite a few times that i forgot to wear my watch, my left hand feels light and i still look at my wrist for time (force of habit, i guess). I have a going to work watch, a special occasion watch and a substitute watch.

I almost always wear a watch outdoors, but rarely indoors at home. When I go out without a watch, I feel naked, and always find myself turning my wrist to see what time it is. I really don't need it as I have my cell phone with me all the time, but I guess it is out of habit and it is comforting to me. There is nothing special about the watch I wear, it is a Timex, nice and simple with a big face.

Hello. As a Swiss I would of course like to have a "Grande Complication" from Jaeger Le Coultre or from Audemars Piguet. Unfortunately, I cannot afford 300'000 dollars. But about a year ago I bought MY "Grande Complication". It cost me 1'000 dollars and it is the most fabulous watch I ever owned. It is a special limited edition. Only 250 pieces of it exist. It gives me automatically the right time, where ever I am. And it will forever change the date automatically and takes into account the 29 of February every 4 years. And I do not have to change the battery (at least they guarantee that for 20 years) because the battery is loaded constantly from any light source. And the nice thing is that you don't see the solar cells, it just looks like any watch. And it looks beautiful: Fine stainless steel and a saphire glass that does not scratch. Only one problem (with my fellow Swiss): The watch is from Japan. But as I am roaming around in the world since 40 years this does not troublee me. And I think my watch is special because it is exclusive. It is MY 300'000 dollar watch.

I have not wore a watch since I got to college. I don't like wearing one because it always reminds me of the limited time that we have on a day. I found out that when I'm not wearing a watch, I'am able to do less work and having more time to myself. Not wearing a watch also lets me feel less stressed because I rarely think of the time constraints that we have in a day.

Personally, I am one of them who has issues with wearing a watch, as my Body Chemistry has had a tendency to Stop them. I wish I could wear a watch though, but since I cannot, I am always checking the time via a Clock somewhere or my Cell Phone.

Well I wear a watch every day except sundays when I am home. But the moment I reach office I take it out and keep it in the drawer as sweating makes it uncomfortable to wear as temperatures are high here. The watch I have is not a gift it was bought by me.

i am a time-conscious person so i have to wear always my watch. I don't like to be late in any appointments and i want to finish anything on time. it has been my habit to always keep updated on time specially on watching tv or movie shows as scheduled because i hate watching these shows half in the middle or about to end.
i wear my watch as much as possible because i don't want to disturb anyone just to ask what time it is.
