After the 9/11 incident everyone knows that there was a discrimination prevealing in US towards the muslims in the country. It took lot of courage and patience to understand the actual situation. Its human tendency to assosiate things to situation and make sense of it.
Now since we all know that the virgnia tech incident is linked to a south korean student. Will the same situation of discrimination prevale against asians??? i hope not, sincerely not.....
My prayers go out to the students, professors who are no longer here with us !!! May there soul rest in peace.

I don't think this will be the case. It was a horrific but isolated incident involving one individual, not a vast preplanned conspiratorial sect bent on mass murder and widespread destruction.
There will always be a few (insert your preferred derogatory term) who will make the mistake of blaming a group for the actions of one but I think for the most part it will pass without widespread discrimination against Asian-Americans or Asian immigrants. If there are a few incidents I certainly hope that they do not become violent in any way. One will be too many in my book.
