Okay - I'm 34 weeks and this kid is STILL breech. My daughter was too. I know there is still time to flip, but there isn't much room in there. Has anyone else had this? I must have a tipped uterus or something. I must say, at least I'm not getting kicked in the ribs. That would not be fun.

Yes my youngest child was breech up until the very end. Just a few days before he was born, he turned and I have to say that was a pain that jolted through my body. He was ten pounds and 22 1/2 inches long at birth. He was a big baby so yes it did hurt when he flipped but it was quick,...suprisingly. I wish you the best of luck.

Yes, I did know when he turned. My stomach jerked with the turning of my baby. It was like a sudden jerk, that hurt somewhat..but it didn't last long & of course that pain was nothing compared to child birth..lol. Good luck to you! =)

Woah - did you definitely know when he flipped. Sometimes I wonder because I feel pressure in different spots, but then I get a kick and that usually confirms where the feet are which gives me a pretty precise idea of whether the baby is head down or not. That must have been such a strange feeling...

It happened to me with all my pregnancies. Somehow the baby turned itself around the night before they were born. I have no idea how they did it as there is not much room as you said. One of mine even turned just as they did an xray so in one picture they were one way then the next you could see them turning. I would like to congratulate you of the forthcoming birth of your child and hope that everything goes well for you.

that's unbelievable. That's why with my daughter the Dr. waited until i was in labor to decided to do the c-section. She didn't turn and she was 8 lbs 3 oz so she was pretty big to turn anyways. Thanks for the congrats. I'm confident that things will go well.

Did the doctor give you exercises to do to help turn the baby? My nephew was breech. My sister in law did they exercises and he turned his little butt around. They then had a smooth delivery. If your doctor didnt maybe you could ask for them.

Yeah - none of the exercises have worked, in fact I think I feel worse since I tried them. the baby seems to be on a nerve or something now.

Don't know if I can help. but here goes. Did the doctor look at your uterus at the time of your last c-section? When I had my daughter she was breech and I needed a c-section. After she was out the doctor took a look at my uterus and it was shaped like a Heart. It has some term like Bicornate uterus. Meaning instead of having one big uterus I have a uterus with two seperate sections, so when it comes time for the baby to naturally turn itself it cannot! I carried my daughter all in the left half of my uterus. I was told that all my babies will be breech and there is no way to correct this, I could have them go in and remove some tissue and what not but they said it isn't guaranteed, and would be very painful! So I guess I will just be thankful I can have children and just deal with the c-sections. well I wish you the best and hope everything goes ok!!! I am sure everything will work out just fine.
