Public Transportation:

You bet! I was in Taiwan and rode in their public bus to go to their city. There are lots of chinese locals and I don't like their smell. It was winter that time and they don't usually take a bath. Of course, I couldn't do anything but to cover my nose! It's a public transportation and you couldn't complain just for your own convenience. If one will complain, it should be for everybody's advantage.

When I was a teenager, I used to ride the bus all the time. I would come across someone who really had a strong odor sometimes. I never said "hey you stink" to them. If they talked to me, I was polite. Anywhere I go, if someone stinks, I'll try not to sit by them. I know some people don't realize they stink or can't help it and I'm still friendly to them but I don't really want to sit next to them if there is another seat available.

if i come across someone like this and it is very likely that i will being that i live in NYC and ride the trains every single day. i do one of two things. either don't sit or stand next to them. or i get off at the next stop and switch cars if it is really that bad. not really good dealing with BO. and that mess can jump on you and then you are walking around smelling like someone elses nasty butt

I think this happens to anyone that takes bus. It happened to me, all the sits were already used. I had to stand up, and this guy right at my side was stinking. I had nothing to do, I didn't complain. I just changed to another place on the bus.
