Well, it all depend on your age and weight. If you are getting old and heavy, your knee might not be able to take the jogging stress.
I set myself a target to walk 10,000 steps a day as recommended by some studies. I used a pedometer to keep track of my steps. On an average, I made about 7,000 steps, and I will walk around the house or stop at one bus stop ahead of my house to make the numbers.
At time while at work, and I am taking tea break, I will take a 10 minutes walk around the office to relax and stretch myself.

Both are good cardio exercises, easily doable.
I use to walk, mostly to and from work, as often as i can, with the help of the warm weather outside.
