How do you stop period pains?

I had cervical cancer last year and as a result i have very bad period pains, the Dr described them as full blown contractions and perscribed allsorts of painkillers, but i seen to be allergic to them all! i have tried the usual hotwater bottle and other tecniques but they dont work for me. Do you have anything that can help me? PLEASE!!!!

I'm sorry to hear about this! :( I know that lots of girls use birth control and it has been shown to work. I know it will work, but I don't know if you have tried that already. If not, take some tylenol a few days before your going to get it as well. Heating pads work too.

Hello, thank you for your advice. I have been on the pill in the past, yes i did work, but we are trying for a baby! I havent heard of tylenol, but i will find out more, thank you.
