Adding friends....

Thus adding friends in mylot make you earn points? And also if you invite friends and they accepted it, will you gain points?? I have a lot of friend requests that are still pending and i am wondering if I will earn points if I accept or add them to my friends lists.

The only way a person receives points from his/her friends is by responding to their friend's discussions, you don't get paid for just adding or sending out requests to be friends with someone. It is better to go through and look at their discussions and if you see ones that interest you than add the person, and turn on notify, so you can get further discussions from them. Having friends with discussions that interest you can save you a lot of searching around, and they can help you earn in the long run.

I don't think you actually earn points for adding friends. I think by adding friends and turning discussion notification on, you're opening yourself up to more discussions that your friends start, and by participating in those discussions you earn more. That's how it seems to me anyway. I have a bunch of friends on here but haven't seen my earnings improve.
