Having relationships with a teacher is some kind of common this days. i have a friend who in our college years had a relationship with one of our teacher and it did turned out good, he even marry him... why is it prohibited to fall in love with your teacher? Teachers are also human beings they also got attracted with their students... why can't this banned be lift up????

There is always the chance of something bad happening and teacher-student relationships are frowned upon for a reason. Sometimes the reason is just unreasonable. Will Durant was 60 and Ariel was 16 when they fell in love. They eventually married and wrote some wonderful books together.

There is a big difference between sleeping with a college aged student and school aged student. Most kids in college are atleast 18 and are adults by law. Teachers of younger children like the teachers who have made the news lately are taking advantage of minors. A child of 13,14,15,16,and even 17 might think they are in love with their teacher, and that it is alright to express it physically with them, but in truth they are to young to realize the ramifications of these acts. Teachers are supposed to help protect our children not sexually and mentally abuse them.
